Scott Kaufmann
Scott Kaufmann oversees operational and development activities of the commercial, retail, multifamily, industrial and urban mixed-use real estate projects taking place within Daybreak. And his focus is on delivering value while developing successful real estate projects.
Scott joined the team in 2005, having relocated from a similar role with the St. Joe Company, a Florida-based regional development and investment company operating in the mid-Atlantic and southeast regions. During his 20-year career, he has been responsible for over $1.5 billion of real estate projects across nearly every type of real estate asset throughout the U.S.
Scott served as president of the Utah chapter of NAIOP and continues to serve the organization as an executive committee board member. He is an active board member of EDCUtah, which retains and recruits businesses to the State. In addition, he serves as a board member on the University Health Care Foundation. He is also involved in both ULI and ICSC.
Scott received his Master of Science in Real Estate Finance from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He also earned a Masters of Business Administration from The University of Denver and a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas.
